EVERY season, Orange Emus Rugby Union Club holds a ladies’ day, but this weekend the event will take on a charitable dimension and raise money for the Premi-Babes Association of Orange.

The ladies’ day is a chance to support Emus when they play the Cowra Eagles at Endeavour Oval on Saturday, with the clubhouse to be transformed into a paradise for a good cause. It’s also designed for women who don’t like football or for those who just want to have a little bit of girl time.

The event will kick off from 1.30pm with free entry for all women. The first 25 through the door will receive a gift bag from Lucknow’s 2 Fat Ladies.

Ladies will be able to try a selection of wines from Angullong, cupcakes from Bella and Ivy Custom Cakes and enjoy performance from Orange Dance Centre’s troupe during the game’s half-time.

Organiser Tracyann Potts said she was excited to be able to support the Premi-Babes Association with such an event.

“Every year we have a ladies’ day and this year we decided to take it a little further and support a local charity,” Mrs Potts said. “We have some members in the club who have a connection to the association, so it’s a good cause.”

There will also be a super raffle with prizes donated from Orange businesses including Hair X, Intimo Lingerie, Central Caleula Motor Lodge, Orange PCYC, Haigh Truck and 4WD Repairs, Parkview Hotel, Millthorpe Providore and the Village Coffee Shop.
